A small-team buying guide

Compare the whole signing bill, not just the headline price.

A monthly price means little until you know who can send, how much the team can send and how long you are committing. Use the same team and workload when comparing per-user, workspace and usage-based offers.

Three questions behind the pricing model

Who is a billable user?

A per-user offer may charge for each person who sends or manages agreements. Check whether administrators, occasional senders and read-only colleagues count, and whether there is a minimum number of seats.

What does the team pay for?

A workspace offer shares one price and an allowance across the team. Unlimited users does not mean unlimited documents. Check separate workspaces, feature tiers and whether a second workspace needs its own subscription.

What is one unit of usage?

A document, envelope, request, transaction or completed agreement is not automatically the same unit. One envelope might contain several files or recipients. Ask how multiple signers, resends, replacements, bulk requests, voided requests and unsuccessful deliveries count.

Use a consistent comparison scenario

Suppose four colleagues need to send a total of 80 agreements each month from one workspace. If an illustrative seat-based offer costs $10 per sender per month, the base team bill is 4 × $10 = $40 per month before taxes, add-ons or excess usage. Those numbers describe a hypothetical offer, not another vendor's current price.

Naxas Sign's advertised Small Business launch plan is $6 per workspace per month, with unlimited users and a shared allowance of 150 documents per month. On that stated allowance, 80 documents fit; 180 do not. Confirm that the required features and the way your workload is counted fit before choosing.

This is not a claim that Naxas Sign always costs less. A high-volume team may prefer an offer with a higher base price and a larger or unlimited sending allowance. Compare actual feature requirements, support and volume as well as price.

Separate the monthly equivalent from the amount billed

Naxas Sign advertises Small Business at $5.40 per month when billed annually: $64.80 paid for the year. Monthly billing is $6 per month, or $72 over twelve months if that price and subscription continue. The annual scenario saves $7.20 across that year but requires the annual commitment.

An annual plan's monthly document allowance is not automatically an annual pool. Do not assume that unused volume rolls over or that you can spend twelve months of allowance immediately. Check the current usage window in the app and ask about cancellation, renewals, refunds, taxes and any limits that matter to you.

Prices in this example are USD launch prices reviewed on the date above. The pricing page lists all three paid offers and annual totals; your confirmed checkout or agreed commercial terms govern what you pay.

Before you commit to a plan

  1. Count senders and workspaces. Include colleagues who send only occasionally, and keep independent teams' needs separate.
  2. Estimate ordinary and peak volume. A monthly average can hide a busy renewal or onboarding period.
  3. Check the unit and reset. Ask what counts, when the allowance resets, and what happens when the limit is reached.
  4. List required features. Templates, branding, API access, signing order and support may be tier-dependent. Verify the actual workflow rather than choosing by a feature label alone.
  5. Compare equivalent commitments. Use the same currency, billing period and number of senders. Separate introductory pricing from the renewal offer.
  6. Read the commercial terms. Confirm taxes, cancellation, refunds, upgrades, downgrades and any overage charges. Do not assume an excess request will be sent or charged automatically.
  7. Test a representative agreement. Follow preparation, sending, signing and completed-file retention. Review data handling before using sensitive records.
